Gamecube Problem

my fan and red light is coming on,but no video and sound!And everytime i turn the system on i just see a quick ripple in the tv.whats wrong with my gamecube??????

Did you do any modifications to the gamecube?

If you have one, try using a different AV cable. Also try using it on a different TV. Is your disk spinning at all?

no the disk is'nt spinning,but it was like that when the gamecube had picture/sound????

Wait, so is the disk drive a new problem or an old problem? And did you Gamecube go to the main menu before your AV stopped working?

yes it went to main menu and everythintg,im not saying the game would stop spinning completly,it would do that sometimes!Maybe theres just something possibly wrong with mY AV cables????

That'd be my first guess. Change the cable if you can (the one from N64 works on GCN if you have one) and try it on a different TV.
