Gamecube cooling help

I'm having trouble finding a suitable fan for my case. I need one that is roughly the same size as the stock Gamecube fan, but runs on a voltage
from Zenloc's custom regulator. I also need to find out a way to secure the motherboard to the case, as I don't think hot glue will work. Any ideas?

Well the fan will run on anything below 12v but just not as well. Most people use stuff like epoxy to secure the mobo down.

But when I used the stock fan with 7.4 volts, it just turned a bit and then stopped. Also, I don't have them anymore, as I broke all of them.

dude
OMG

im having the exact same issue myself right now, how do you fix this?
I'm using a 7.4v of 5000mah pack on my gc wth a ps2 silm fan, it runs at start but then stopped spinning,
any fix?

thanx for this post, dude :)

I don't know about ps2 fans, but the gamecube stock fan I had ran at 12 volts or so, and didn't have enough voltage to run. I ended up getting some fans that ran on 7.4 volts.

okay, thanx i see, if the fan is 12v and runs fine at 12v, then when running it at 7.4v or anything below 12v won't work and have problems.

but fans exist that allow for both 12v and 7.4v to both work :)
