First N64 portable (Boat64)

Hey guys,

I watched many N64 portable videos and I found them amazing. With a friend, I'm finally going to start an N64P.
We're re-locating the cartridge port (for the third or fourth time) and our soldering skills are not that really bad looking for now.
Specs:
PSOne monitor (LED-modded and Matte-modded, going to do that later on)
N64 (Cpt.Obvious)
3rd party N64 controller
Something to make a case
Looking for batteries
Headphone jack
TV-out with RCA to RCA cable
Trying to do it 4 players without being too big

I'll be posting pictures later on.

Thanks dude.

Edit: Is there a possibility that it might short and other bad stuff like that with that poor soldering job? I'll probably put some hot glue on that so it doesn't move too much.

If you're really worried about shorts in your soldering, I'd recommend redoing the job with a nice chisel tip. It did my solder work wonders.

Test for shorts with your multimeter.
Don't have one, get one.
If you have shorts in your wiring/soldering, redo it.

Also, if you don't already have a PSOne screen, eBay has some good 4.3" or 3.5" screens (albeit without speakers) for about half the price of the PSOne screens.

I already have one :awesome:
Had it before the price went sky high. I've tested my connections with my multimeter, and everything seems correct except one thing:
Sometimes, the pins can touch themselves... the red and the green/blues. I'll try to fix that. Starting the relocation on the PCB tomorrow! :awesome:

Yay, it worked! :awesome:
The cartridge slot relocation worked on the first boot.
Next: Cutting a part of the N64 PCB.

Thanks for your help guys!

Edit: Maybe it's a stupid question, but hey, I'm a newb.

What do I need to get 7.5 volts to the PSOne screen using a 12v AC to DC adapter?
