Ebay 3.5" Backup Screen Question

I just got my 3.5" ebay screen and took it apart. It worked fine until I unplugged the screen from the motherboard. Now, every time I want to turn it on, I have to wiggle the little cable just right, and if I bump it, it turns all sorts of different colors and I have to wiggle the plug again. Is this a sign of a faulty ribbon cable connector? HELP

Look for cold solder connections on the board. Anything that is not shiny, re-solder. Good luck,
