Do I need a second heatsink

Ok the screen I got requires 7.5V (but works with 8V) and since rails don't exist for 8V I need to feed 12V from the regulator board into a voltage regulator (7805 connected up with resistors in such a way it outputs 8V instead of 5V). I'm using the original fan/heatsink combo from the gamecube.

long story short will I need another heat sink or will the gamecube heatsink and fan cover me

if so what value should it be

a single heatsink and fan for the GC mainboard will be all you need
besides, where would you put a second heatsink on the mainboard?
