DMG screen not working

hey i bought a DMG gameboy for a fiver at a car boot with the printer and the power light comes on but the screen fluxed no lines but no picture just a blank screen any suggestions?

did you try turning the contrast up
and are you getting sound

Make sure the game works, or the battery, or as previously stated, contrast!! May just be any of those!

Don't worry about it, we've all been there. First time I picked up a MGB in around 8 years I panicked at that too, until I realised it was the contrast also..!
