The Xbox, Microsoft's first step into the console business, was a huge console with an equally huge controller. It had some great titles like Halo, Shenmue 2, and others. The Playstation 2 was one of the longest lasting gaming consoles ever with a 10 year run. We still love it even though it killed the Dreamcast.
