I acquired a GBA with an afterburner installed, however it has some dust and crap on it. How should I clean this delicate material? I don't want to use alcohol because that might damage it, would eyeglass cleaner work?
I use alcohol to clean my gameboys screens after I peel off the polarizing film so I think it'd be fine to use. However if the afterburner kit uses a different material than glass I don't know if I could recommend it.
You can use distilled water with a new toothbrush to get in the grooves. Then compressed air to blow off the water. Be careful to hold the canned air still so it doesn't spray any chemical.
You don't want to touch the plastic much at all, especially with towels and napkins because of the lint. If you get lint on it use a piece of packing tape to pull of the dust.
