Charge and play with only one DC-connector?

Hey dear guys,

I wonder if this would work for my portable... You know, just like a normal notebook.

I dunno exactly if it would work with our portables... But it would be awesome , wouldn't it?

I looked over the specs, but I don't fully understand the features, so I can't say whether it would work with switching between internal and external power.

In the Envision I used two DC connectors (one for power and one for charging the batteries). I based it off of Shockslayers two way switch diagram, which might be in the electronics section somewhere...

But using wall power to charge the batteries would require a circuit to regulate the charging. I guess, essentially, you would need the charging circuitry to be inside of the portable instead of in the charge cord.
