It's a portable. I think he would have stated otherwise if it wasn't.

Well, I'm basing the no batteries assumption on that he's using the whole back from a GC controller. Unless it's being very, very frankencased, I don't see how batteries are getting in there.

Course, I could be totally wrong, which is more likely. Since it's only a backside pic, it's hard to tell.
