What cable should I use? could you send a link?

so I could just use ribbon cable, like from an old computer? Also, to solder easier could I bend the pins back?

Yep.

Do it carefully though. Bending the pins back weakens them and can cause them to break.

i did it, but something to note, NEVER EVER buy a wire stripper if it has a screwdriver on the bottom, 2 hours of that put holes in my hand.

er, i dont usually use my teeth to cut wire as they arent that sharp lol but yeah teeth work well for stripping little wires
