Can you use a PSP screen?

PSP replacement screens are cheap and very thin, ideal for a portable GC. Is it possible to use one of these?

In all fairness, it'd be possible to use a PSP screen, but you would have to make your own driver for it, which would be a pain.

IIRC someone was working on a driver for it, but I don't think it ever amounted to anything.

Not near impossible if you know what you're doing. Problem is, most of the people with the means to develop their own have the means to get better screens that actually work without having to develop anything for it.

What's a good screen then? I don't really want to use a psone screen, they're just.. too big.

There're 3.5" and smaller screens on eBay, just search for car reverse monitors. Something like "TFT reverse LCD" and you'll find plenty, and most of them are reasonably priced. If you need it fast you can pay an extra 10 bucks or so and get an American retailer of them, but if it's coming from China expect about a one month wait

I usually buy 3.5"/4.3" screens from a seller in New Mexico. About $22 dollars with three day shipping. Can't beat it.
