He used a 3ds slider (or PSP). Check ebay/deal extreme for them. You'll also need some caps, I have no idea what he used but most people use psp nubs.

That's hard to mount in the case? I have no ideia, I never seen a portable with one of those before. Also, where do I need to put these caps?
