No those are the HK knockoffs they sell all over Ebay now. They are almost exactly the same thing as the original.

My friend bought a couple of those off ebay. A bit lighter, but just about the same thing as nintendo controllers

If you're going to use them in portables, use quite thick wires for relocating to avoid noise, as the PCB consists of only a logic chip and 2 filtering capacitors + rumble circuit.
I'm struggling with one of these right now.

i suggest the microcon controllers for gamecube portables...the motherboards are VERY small.

did you have to do anything to make up for the missing resistors??? Or any odd rellocations (aside from standard trace connecting and such)
