3rd party WiiKey Fusion Modchip

Apparently, WiiKey Fusion was discontinued, and only 3rd party ones are sold. Will this one:

work on a Gamecube? Also, Will it be possible to connect it to the gamecube using Ashen's guide for the 1st party ones?
