can anyone please point me towards a good audio amp that supports digital control/how to make a board that will do this? im looking for something that can utilize tact switch presses in order to change the volume output in order to avoid using a wheel slider.

I think the man is looking for a tutorial on how to wire the l and r dual tact mod so he doesnt have to utilize the analogue sliders that originally come with the gamecube controller. Correct me if im wrong though

If you feel uncomfortable soldering directly to the FFC, you can buy a breakout board to make the task less daunting. You can buy them from Digikey for about 15 dollars shipped. I'll update this post with the link when I get home
