I have come into a bulk quantity of EEPROMs, RAM, Processors, and other IC's and equipment. What sort of ROM chips do you guys use? I have a bunch of 27c512 and 9914p and literally hundreds of others.

I believe that to be the sound of the moisture escaping from the wood as it was being super heated by the electricity. Once all the moisture was expelled, the tinder was then immolated by the heat and reduced the fiber to carbon ceasing the short. :tophat:
