i know that i solder to the outer holes, but do i solder inside the hole, in other words should i put the wire through the hole and solder it?

and when looking at the board for the n64, the mobo has the holes in it, where the old pins used to be, basically what im asking is should i solder to the top of the whole or should i go straight through? because i've been going straight through the whole time

Ok in light of my rewiring the cartridge system 3 times, i figure i should ask the question before hand. how much should i really strip the wire for the cart relocation? because the last time i did it, it did not turn out so hot.

alright cool.... thanks for the advice on that, what should i do for the av and power problem, because i cut those peices off but mistake, i have all of the other parts, should i just start wiring things together? because i have a feeling the same problem is gonna happen again.

i did check most if not all of my connections and i can still use stranded wire, i choose not to because it's frilled at the ends and i hate that but because it is better i probably will re- do the connections, all of them but if thats what it takes then so be it. any tips for tinning stranded...

do you think that it could be the packing tape that might block the signal from properly working? and what do you mean by insulation, the stuff that covers the wire? sorry im not familiar with tech jargon lol

i am using the proper power and av cords that came with the n64 and i took all of the wire going to the slot relocation out and re did the whole process. i hooked it up to a tv and i am now getting less results than before, nothing even shows up on the screen now, but a little bit showed up...

ok well thanks for the quick reply! and now to the questions, i AM using the original cables, av cables as well as power cable to test it to a little tv, its not the LCD, that comes in in a few days from what i can tell, the sockets are not bridged. but i feel like i need a better set up with...

I just tested my N64 after relocating the cartidge slot, i have some weird problem where on the screen, the picture is barley visible, and the sound is a little faded but im more worried about the video cause its not WoRkInG RIGHT!!!! >:( . can some one help me out here

alright i get what you are saying and i believe that we bought the same battery, charger and saftey unit today lol. i was hoping some one could put up a diaphragm including the batteries, i understand how the screen links with the n64 but not how either attach to the batteries to get the thing...

So ive moved on to the battery parts, i was wondering what battery would be the best to use for the n64 and the psone screen, how many i should get, and how to wire it so i am able to play and charge at the same time Thanks in advance!
