It just happened to be in the box. Unfortunately it was missing the receiver for the guitar... Anyway, it does nothing when plugged into a dualshock or dualshock 2.

It doesn't have anything special inside, just battery contacts, two momentary switches (one for positive and the other for negative) and the plug.

Yeah, its a speaker from a PSP-1000. My friend had dropped it and ripped it apart, so I asked if I could have the speakers. This was about a year or two ago that i got them, and i finally found something to do with one of them!
