Thanks I also heard that the mini itself can support up to 2 gigs of ram is used with PC 5400 ram, so I might upgrade the ram and load either puppy arcade or something like that.

It does, however I already have 2 computers for HTPC in both the bedrooms.....I'm starting to think I might have too many computers...is that a thing???!!

I don't really want to use the guts in it I'm thinking about stripping all the flaxty components out and wondered what kind of stuff you might be able to fit inside just using the shell as mobile retro gaming rig.

Ya honestly I don't think it would run kodi. That's how bad they are. Lubuntu is like Windows 3.1 system resources wise and it'll barely run that. I fear the previous poster might be right.

My wife has HP Mini 110 it's a fantastically designed little thing, but even with Lubuntu on it, it runs soooo slow. Worst hardware ever put in a laptop award imo. I've been cruising these forums looking at wii and other retro portables and I figured if anybody had any ideas on WTF to do with...
