My 3.5 inch screen came in the mail today. Is it possible to run that off of the gamecube power adapter without changing anything?

I found out the gamecube I have is a rev C. Do I have to power it with 14.8v or is it possible to power it with 11.1v?

I have recently begun working on a portable gamecube. I would like the portable to run on batteries, but I would like a battery that is good for beginners. I ordered a battery off of eBay, and when it got to my house is was completely corroded. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
