My solder has flux inside of it. The problem is that I can't twist it together because the strands of copper wire keep coming 'untwisted' and they're all over the place and they slide off easily and it's just not working...

I tried using my gamecube AV cable on my gamecube and it didn't work, but I'm not sure if my gamecube was working when I tried it or not, because I had to have a thing plugged into it to know if it was working, and I didn't try plugging that in until after I did something that I know DID break...

I need to open up my n64 and I was just wondering if it was safe to melt the plastic around the screws... When I tried just melting some of the plastic just on top of the n64 there was a bad smell and I'm afraid that it's toxic. I don't have any other way of opening it.
