    Dr.Rawr's SNES Portable Worklog

Well, my comp is now working. The sata cable was loose  I'm still waiting on a Snes game to get here, so there's gonna be a wait. EDIT: Well, it works, but I'm not going to be working on it for a bit. I just bought an Xbox 360 which I'm planning on Jtagging (Great timing, ja?)

    Dr.Rawr's SNES Portable Worklog

Alright. Well my computer exploded, so I may stop working for a little bit. Also, what is a SL-68? I googled it and I keep getting airsoft guns

    Dr.Rawr's SNES Portable Worklog

Alright. I opened it up and it's a lot smaller than I thought. I am planning on using a project enclosure box for the case, and dremel/bondo-ing the heck out of it until I get what I want. Also, I want everyone to know, I know almost nothing about these circuit boards and magic known as...

    Dr.Rawr's SNES Portable Worklog

Turns out I don't have any Super Nintendo games, so I'm waiting for Kirby Super Stars to here, and I don't have a gamebit screw-driver. On a brighter side, I remembered the bic-pen trick. And I took pictures of the process to make me feel like I'm doing something useful. In actuality, I ran out...

    NM

Re: Lithium Polymer Batteries -- How to wire and what to buy. I was planning on making a series of four paralleled batteries (2 paralleled and series'd to another 2 paralleled. Or would I just need three, one to increase the voltage and another to increase the voltage?) so the PMC won't work...

    Battery Matter(y)s

SEE WHAT I DID THERE :dahroll: Z Anyways, I was wondering what kind of batteries I should use, and what voltage/ampage I need for a SNES Mini. If it says it somewhere on the console, I'm sorry, but I don't want to buy it until I'm sure that I can do this thing.

    SNES USB reader.

I have always wondered how they get the roms off of the cartridges.

    Best SNES Variant?

I was searching through the forums and I saw that a lot of people used different SNES variants (Retro Duo, SNES Mini, Normal SNES), and I found my self not being able to decide which to get for my portable that I'll probably never get done. Could someone recommend to me the best SNES to...

    Gamecube Mod Chip?

Craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap. The only place I can find that has it is going to cost me $23.59 :gonk: Can someone link me to a lower priced one?

    Gamecube Mod Chip?

Deffinitely getting it. But one thing: I read somewhere that it has trouble running games burnt to mini-dvd's. Is that true? It's not much of a problem because it has a SD loader, but still. EDIT Disproven! It runs discs perfectly.

    Gamecube Mod Chip?

    Gamecube Mod Chip?

So I was day-dreaming about how amazing my gamecube portable will be, when it hit me: I have no clue where my gamecube games are. I searched and searched with no luck. So I need help. What gamecube modchip do you recommend. I've heard good things about the Qoob, but I can't find how to make it...
