    Connecting case halves

I'm going to start off saying I'm not a pro (pros correct me if I'm wrong) but I might be able to help (haven't made my case yet). To conect the cases together still use the teeth method to line the halves up. For the screw posts you can buy plastic rods. Cut them to the desired length then glue...

    Case Design

After the portableising gods saved my 64 I am back. After about the 5th hour of testing the electronics the 64 turned off so I assumed the voltage was to low for it or something. I was quite confused because the screen was still on and the voltage was still ok (running 11.1v 6.8Ah). After closer...

    N64p Questions

I just got the second one in the mail. It works great (don't need much better quality for the 64) but it did not run off 8v properly for me. I'm still waiting for feedback, most likely ill just jump too three cells to get 11.1v rather then two.

    Under volt on my screen

This looks a little too complex for me to read... Would it be easier if I bought one more cell to run off of 11.1V? Would the extra volts make the console run longer or would it just take more electricity?

    Under volt on my screen

So I got my screen in the mail today! There was a slight problem, when I hooked the power up to 8v the picture was extremely white and almost looked like a faded negative. So I tried powering it with the GameCube power cable (12v) and it worked perfectly! What should I do considering I am going...

    Cheap Tact Switches

I have been looking for some cheap switches to use for the buttons of a N64P. Somewhere I read to use rubber Tact switches but this is the only thing I could find...

    The WowItActuallyWorked64 (previously N64Boy Advance.0)

From what I have been reading them battery's should last around 2-3 hours and take the same time to charge, but that depends on your charger. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I'm jealous of your golden OOT! I want one so bad...

    Show us your desktop!

EasyC is easy, but I would like to try RobotC because that seems to be what all the other teams use. We compete in VRC. I don't know what you all do with VEX if you compete or not, but we are going to the world champions next week. This is our second year so we are pretty happy!

Can someone approve these parts before I buy?

We have all the parts in the mail! We changed a few parts for price reasons but all looks good. Getting a good feel of this whole portable thing. About to start making the vacuum board and mold. Hopefully we will get a work log started after next week (going to California). Super excited to...

    WTB: Nintendo 64 Portable.

I don't want to make any promises, but... My friend and I are working on our first N64 portable with all the features you have mentioned and more. We have been putting an incredible amount of time into planning and learning so far. Our plan is to make one for testing then after that make another...

Can someone approve these parts before I buy?

We where hoping to not make it into a laptop but it is on our mind. This weekend we might be cutting all the parts out of wood like the screen and battery's and seeing how every thing will fit into a case. Might have to check the dollar store, thanks for the idea!

Can someone approve these parts before I buy?

My friend and I are impressed by some of the great work on portables, but especially the 64s! We have decided to pool some money together and time to build our own. It will be mainly used for multiplier player (normally 3 but sometimes 4) on long car rides. Could someone please approve of this...
