Why does chat not work for me?

Is the server messed up or is it my iPod, because I swear I didn't post that twice... But anyway, opera is pretty good too. Not a ton of features, but fast.

Why does chat not work for me?

Chrome has extentions like firefox, just not as many yet. And it automatically updates without any interaction from you or even notification, one less thing to think about.

Re: GameCube, some case mod ideas please =]

Yeah, you won't find a laptop with a screen that works. And pretty much any laptop, modern or old (except an adamo or MacBook air) will fit the innards of a gamecube, as long as you relocate the disk drive and powerboard, and maybe slim the heatsink a little.

    GC Voltage

Not if you want to use the original regulator. The original regulator won't go under 10v I believe. But you can build your own regulator that will run off a lower voltage. Someone (I think zenloc) has a guide/designs for it somewhere around here. viewtopic.php?f=36&t=2844

    Pentium III computer!

So I was digging through the basement trying to find my soldering iron, when a huge pile of crap fell on me. Then, I look up at the workbench, and there is a very old, dusty motherboard, along with some other computer things. List of things: Motherboard from a Dell Dimension XPS Dxxx desktop 233...

    Can this be fixed?

Well then my guess is that its dead, but I could be wrong.

    Can this be fixed?

This probably means you fried the regulator, or if it was plugged in to the gamecube, the whole board. Check to make sure the fan board is plugged in to the regulator properly.

    Can this be fixed?

The fuse is a white box about 1 cm across, on the power board. But that only applies for rev. A and B boards, and the color may be different. Its next to where the power goes in to the regulator. And you probably have to desolder it and solder on a new one, or put an external one on the outputs...

    Gameboy link cable to PC

an xboo cable is similar to what you are looking for. It connects to the serial port of a computer, and the link portion of a gba. It can communicate with xboo communicator and I believe no$gba emulator. google it.
