Thanx for the reply =) i figured it out this morning. seems it was a switch like you sayed and the connection i made with the screen was wrong. now i only have to make the case and intergrate the controller =)

Well this is my first post have been scanning this board for a while and decided to make a portable myself. wasnt planning on posting anything untill i was finished,but i have run into a problem =/ i cant seem to connect my n64 to my screen. i m using a 7 inch screen from a portable dvd player...
