i don't get it. is this a joke or something? its not made to be a handheld. it sits nice on a coffee table, or a bed. iv been playing it for over 10 hours so far and the batteries are not dead. you can also plug it in to the wall. ya its bright yellow, who cares? the speakers are in the lid...

nah, i didn't bother. but the screws are in fairly tight, so unless you fully submerged it for awhile i think it would be fine. it was yellow or black. i was like YELLOW ! black is just boring. thanks for the kind words guys.

well here is my new portable. its a little different then most. i originally was going to do this with an atari. but after playing some atari, and remembering just how awful most of it is, i decided to do another snes. its got a 8" LCD, original mobo, pelican hard case, 15000mah li-po batteries...

do you have a dmg that has all the parts? i dont need a screen and it doesnt even have to work.

ya i just could not find the rocker switches that i want to use in a spdt. i also dont want to have 2 jacks. thats why im just putting the power adapter and the charger in the unit. and only have 1 outlet to power both.

i just forgot to bridge the connections from side to side of the switch right? but with ss's guide the console will turn on when you plug it in to charge. i dont want that. so the second switch will turn it off.

after trying many variations im fairly certian this is the way to do it. but i thought it never hurts to ask. also will a li-ion charger charge li-po batts? im getting mixed results though google. i have both but i rather use the li-ion cause its smaller..

18650 cells take up alot of space. your gonna have to make your portable big to fit enough in there so you have decent battery life. you can prolly buy individual cells off ebay for cheaper. or go to hobbyking.com they have super cheap cells (with good reviews, so your not buying junk)...
