I have dogs in my house.
I have carpet in my house.
I have a phat ps2 which needs a new casing.
It is ok to have the open bottom disc drive sitting an inch above the carpet (dogs)? If I put a fan in blowing the hair from there down, might it make the disc spin a bit funny?

Vacuum around the area your ps2 will be in. Unless static electricity takes its life, you'll be fine.
