Just hook up arcade buttons to the R and L tacts, the A and B buttons, X or Y (select), Start, and optionally, Z (options).
Hook up an 8-way joystick to the D-pad, and a switch to the power switch.

The GC would make it pretty flax, though. Think about it - your arcade machine would start up to a GameCube logo, followed by a Game Boy player logo, and then the whole time there'd be this dumb border around the screen. Furthermore, the video won't be particularly sharp with the bi-linear filtering the GBP uses.

The rest of you, shame on you! Is googling so hard?

This'll get it running on a nice VGA CRT monitor; much better than an old composite TV.
