ok if you don't put the resistors on does the picture come out with lines across the screen? because i need to wait and buy them for my genesis 2 but i have the capacitors wired up and the boot screen with the "licensed by sega" thing boots fine but then i get static "lines". just wondering if once i get the resistors will those go away?

I've wired up a model 1 and a model 2 through rgb and neither had lines. And I'm pretty sure I took the resistors out of the scart cable. I think your system's borked
