My n64 wont turn on and i can't figure out why. All I have done to the board is desoldered the 2 metal things on the left and right of the chip near the front desoldered the rest button and desoldered the player 3 and 4 plugs I've checked all the places I've worked to see if any left over solder made a short but nothing if anyone knows how to help please respond.

Edit: Problem solved seems to be that my power cord shorted out and I just needed to use a different one. I recommend checking the power cord first if things go wrong since its probably the cheapest and easiest thing to fix.
