You know what this proves? You can ship portables over seas with no problems. Anyone who says otherwise is doing it wrong.
Bubble wrap unit->place in a sturdy box(I used a thick storage container)->excessive bubble wrap->another box->packing peanuts or other material->plenty of tape
Insure and track that Sega and you're good to go.
