Here are some pics of the completed system, complete with a video:

Final weight: a mere 750g.

Dimensions: 215 x 135 x 55mm

All details in the video:

The embedded video is small, to see it larger on YouTube (and full screen if you want): YouTube link

The worklog WIP for the system is HERE

The full worklog is on my Wordpress site, along with other tutorials, please have a look! This project (IntoGrafx) and previous one (IntoPlay) are on two sections - finished project and how-to guides on my site. That is to keep sections separate for modding the console system and also making the portable.

Please note - the Wordpress site has a limit of 35 users on at any one time, so if the site is busy, please try again in a few minutes!

Nice! It looks really cramped inside just like you said, though not as crazy as the IntoSugar.

Oh by the way, the guides on your site refuse to download.

Tested the IntoGrafx guide PDF on my site - works ok. I had to change it a few times to get it working stably - should be fine now (you might have tried to download the previous ones I had up).

The PDF's are several megs large so can take a couple of minutes or so to load.

I love the universal case thing. They look mass-produced that way.

So you can use it to glue a joint together too? That's great, because I have some extra flux and "rolling" never worked for me. :dahroll:

Thanks! Palmer has the opportunity for "the scoop" for his brokencontrollers.com site, as I promised him. Had to post the finished project here first though so he could link to it! On Wednesday/Thursday I will promote this to other net sites to see if they want to add it to their sites - we will get a lot of traffic then, and hopefully gain some new members in the process to swell our membership numbers *hopes*.

I am extremely jealous of your skills. Your cases are always top notch, and the switching from Japanese to American is an amazing feature. The Turbografx seems like a really difficult system to make portable, but you handled it perfectly. There doesn't seem to be much information documented about it, so you pretty much did this on your own.

Really impressive, Bacteria. Really impressive.

This just about sums up how I feel.
