Since some of you don't go to Ben's site anymore I thought I would copy/paste my new Portable for you :)

Highlights :
Case - Frankenmoded Datamax Kid's Delight
Screen - Unmodded Zenith Psone
Batteries - 14.8v 4700mAh Li-Polys
Controllers - Gamecube, Mini Gamecube, Wii Classic 3rd Party, Dreamcast Quantam Fighterpad

Notes :
1. Memory card relocated to top.
2. Disc Drive relocated with ffc extensions.
3. 2-way switch for running off batteries or wall.
4. About 90 hours of work more or less.

Well here it is :

Added a disc cover that I'm not 100% sure I am happy with. I may change it or even paint it.

I feel bad for cross posting my comments from BH, but I can't think of anything else to say!

Man, oh man.

I could go on for quite a while about this portable. Fantastic, spectacular, all-around an amazing job! :D

I've built two Gamecube portables, so I can really appreciate the work that you put into this unit! The case came out great, and I definitely like the abxy buttons, that's pretty stylish. :) I know exactly what you mean when you say you heavily modified the L and R triggers, those things are a bear to work with! Also, the way the switch works, loving that. Been doing that same design for a while now, I'm surprised that I don't see more people doing it, kudos to you!

Once again, spectacular job, may it serve your needs for many years to come, or your customer's!

I'll get one soon. But basically the case is 1 5/8" thick where your hands hold it. It is 2" at the deepest spot where the screen bumps up. And then the Disc Drive hangs down in the middle another 1 1/8"

:omg: Awesome! It looks so... clean. I've always thought a white portable would be harder to make because imperfections are more noticeable. It looks very comfortable to hold.
