I was wondering if a screen like this one ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/300935364518?redirect=mobile ) would be good for a gamecube portable. P.S. I already have speakers

Yeah, this would be fine, but it only accepts composite video input. It also doesn't have audio (if you were thinking it did), that white connector is a second video input.

Can't really say yes or no there because, like the 3.5 inch and 4.3 inch versions, there are tons of screens that look the same on the outside but have different boards and such inside. It most likely won't disappoint, I'm sure the quality is good, but you don't know exactly what you're going to get until you have it.

Dont know if its exactly the the same but I'm happy with that one. the resolution isn't the highest but the brightness and colors seem to be pretty good, and there isn't much flickering like other screens i've seen/used. and it can switch from 4 to 16:9

I have a few of those exact screens from that exact seller. They are decent. By no means as good as one from good display but if its your first portable a good starter screen. cheap and easy to replace I will say that there is a U.S. seller that sells the same screen its only a dollar or two more but it ships and arrives a lot lot faster if you are in the us.
