So im looking into modding my n64 motherboard (first timer) and im wondering what gauge wire to use i assume 20 gauge solid for the bigger of the two and like 24 for the smaller wires. When rewiring the Rcp what is the max length for the wire i can make it (for both gauges), probably with 24 gauge, or should i use ide cable ribbon? And when rewiring the video and controller just solder the wires to where ever the multi meter makes a connection.
