thanx and i do have the money i just live in the middle of nowhere and dont have access to a store with n64 controllers and i prefer not to buy things online but i guess ill have to

I understand the "not wanting to buy things online" way of thinking. You need WILL need to buy something online eventually so just save yourself a lot of time and effort and just get used to it.

If you want a gamecube controller for the fact that it has 2 handles, you just need to take apart a controller and make the wire to the analog stick longer.

Most people just rip buttons off random controllers (people make n64 portables with PS2 buttons sometimes, it really doesn't matter WHAT controller you use) and make some kind of frankentroller built right into the portable. I'm not actually a modder -yet- though, so I don't know how they go about doing it.
