Just as the question asks, I think I should be fine but I like second opinions
Safe to power a PS2 Slim Using 9.6 volts?

Theoretically, yes, but I wouldnt try it. A fully charged 9.6v pack is rather higher than 9.6v, so I wouldnt recommend it. Id try to get my hands on a 9v lithium backup battery (7.4v with a built in buckboost or similar for steady 9v.) I have used them in the past, and they rock. Its quite easy to add cells, or rplace them entirely to get more amperage or whatever.

Thanks, totally forgot I could remove cells (Its one of those RC Batteries, 4500 mAh)
