Hi dudes, it's my first post here. Nice to meet you all.
I have viewed videos of a guy who converted his old phat ds into a GBA, and I wanted to try that as well.
I dismantled my ds, modded the shell, etc. but when i'm rebuilding it I encounter a problem:
It doesn't work.
I have the following pluged: the 3 wirebands of the touch screen, the wiffi antena, the led-band of the upper screen, the conexion band between upper screen and motherboard.
However, none of the speakers are conected (I don't need sound), also I removed the red an black wires that go from the wifi antena to the upper screen board (cos' I suposed they were also for speakers)
Are the speakers needed to work? Are thoose red an black wires needed to?
More info: it doesn't even start up. I remember that when I conected something wrong repairing my (also again broken) DSlite, it start up and in the same second, it shut down (something about wrong electrick cicle or something). On my phat that isn't happening.
Help please (I have viewed the SS video about how to work a DS without upper screen, but I have problems understanding spoken English)
