N64 mah Consumption?

I just want to know how much mah does the n64 consume with the 3.3v line and 12v line combined? And with the expansion pack?

Thank you

Thank you so much Hail! :D

You seem to be very educated about electronics :tophat:

Is it a good deal to buy 2 n64's for 17 bucks shipped?

If they work, yes. If they have expansion packs...Heck yea !!

Nope, sorry.

Code:
Cartridge: Super Mario 64

Jumper Pack Expansion Pack JP x2.5 EP x2.5

3.3v Line: 1.100 A 1.250 A 1.2 A 1.450 A

12v Line: 110 mA Same Same Same

Cartridge: Donkey Kong 64 (Requires Expansion Pack)

            Expansion Pack EP x2.5

3.3v Line: 1.320 A 1.450 A

12v Line: 110 mA Same
Even when overclocked, it only draws 1.6A. If it's in a portable with a TI switching regulator, it draws merely 900mA.

Once again tons of differing information on current draw in portables.

The mah guide at benheck says it lasts 2 hours with a 5500 mah battery , that's an N64 with expansion pack and a modded psone screen. That means they both together draw 2750mA. So minus a 400mA draw of a modded psone screen you get 2350mA or 2.3A as I said.

The guide needs to be updated :)

WUT

That's my guide.
I thought I updated it when I took those measurements?

The measurements are correct on the guide but the time a 5500mAh battery will last is wrong.

If it takes 1.360 mA total with 3.3v and 12v with expansion pack, then with a 400mA modded Psone screen it would be a total of 1.760mA. So that would last 3.125 hours with expansion pack. 3.42 hours without expansion pack :)

Thanks guys!

I was just wondering the mah consumptions because I can get a 7.4v 3000mah battery for $9, or I can get lipo's for like $35. I think I am just going to go with the $9 battery because I am using a zn45 casing anyway.
