Kodak C330 camera broke. Steady red light, blank screen

No, I didn't broke it, my sister broke it. My Kodak Easyshare C330. She won't fess up on how she broke it, so I don't have a lead.

Anyway, the camera: She returned it to me, the lens are fully extended, screen pitch black, won't respond to dial rotations or keypresses, memory card corrupted, red LED on camera stays on until I pop out batteries. I swapped batteries to a known good charged pair and still nothing. No evidence of water damage or physical shock/impact.

However, it *did* rain today, so it's sitting right now on my PS3's exhaust vents to dry any possible water inside.

Anybody experience this and can share tips? That camera served me well: Most of my photographs were taken with that camera and I would absolutely HATE to part with it.

Update: It works. It sat on my PS3's vents and I forgot about it. When I suddenly remembered, I took it out and gave it one last try. Apparently I left it on the PS3's hot exhaust and it could have dried up and "un-shorted".
