Is this... broken?

I was experimenting with voltages on this 4.3 inch screen with the typical large-ish driver board and concluded I would input 5v to both of the smaller linear regulators, and it worked. Then I cut off the switching regulator because I wouldn't need it.

Now, the screen does nothing when I input 5v and video.

EDIT: I fixed the problem. The little backlight circuit at the top required 5v as well, which had been cut off.
