How thick are the gamecube thermal pads? 1mm? 2mm? 3mm?

I was just wondering whats the best thermal pads to use for the Gamecube.
I can buy 1mm 2mm or 3mm thick pads.

Whats the best thickness to use? Any help much appreciated

The quality doesn't really matter, I'm sure those pads will do. I got some from ebay a while ago and they were 1mm, but were just barely too thin. 1.5mm would be optimal, but 2mm should be just fine.

Should i go with 3mm just to make sure or are you sure 2mm will fit?

I'm sure 2mm will fit, there's less than half a millimeter of space between the heatsink and the 1mm pads for me. If you want you can measure the stock ones, or if you trashed them get someone else to measure them.
