So I finally got my wiikey wired up correctly but suddenly the power cable for the wiikey came off and brushed against something and everything shorted. Currently the screen seems to be fine and gc starts up but after a long blank screen, the startup screen starts to appear but before the little purple cube can even move halfway onto the screen it says an error has occurred (that red screen). On the Wiikey itself has both the red and blue light on. Did I burn the wiikey or the mobo? or both? either way I already spent all of my money so I probably won't even be able to keep working on this anymore...
