CGP screen flashing issue

Alright so I got another screen and I wired it to my mobo. when I turn it on this happens:


If anyone know the anwser please let me know. BTW the screen is powered with 5v.

5v may not be enough for your screen to run happily. What is the recommended voltage for it to run off?

Also, if it has more than one video input try switching to the other one. Sometimes those car reverse monitors have a input meant specifically for a backup camera, and will act funny if a normal video signal is input to that channel.

On the box it says 12v +/- 10%, but I've seen similar screens running off of 3.3v.

I just tried with 12v and it works perfectly. Let's just hope that it will work with 7.4.
