ModRetro Legend
Not so much a finished project as one that I finally polished up, cleaned up, and packaged for release.
Ascension was my Grade 12 programming final project. It's a text RPG, I don't know what to compare it to, really, the primary influence was Skyrim, but obviously not for gameplay. It has a somewhat open, but very small and copypasted world, and a branching storyline. I thought the story was good, but YMMV of course. Overall it's not as good as I wanted it to be, missing a lot, but keep in mind other people handed in dungeons that took five minutes to go through for the same assignment. If you know exactly where you're going and don't read anything, you can finish this one in twenty minutes or so. Source is included, but it's incredibly scary and I don't recommend looking at it.
If you're interested, or even if you're not, give it a shot. Written in Java, works on Windows and Linux, probably on Mac as well but I haven't tried it. Someday, I would like to turn this concept into a real game- well, technically this is a real game, but you know what I mean.

As an aside, does anyone know of a better place to release this?
