2n4401 Transistor

can this transistor in the video amplifier found in ben hecks book and other forums be substituted with a different one. They are out of them at my local radio shack and I was wondering if there was a different one I could look for that would accomplish the same goal.

no idea, but odd are, they will restock long before you can get something shipped to you. if you want, i have some that i could send to you, for the cost of shipping (like 1$ or something). though, i recommend trying a resistor first; it worked for me.
