Gamecube short circuit without any connections?

Sorry, let me correct myself. The 1.9 and 3.3v line was shorting out. I heated the gpu and cpu with a hot air gun and I accidentaly touched it while the solder was still melted and pushed the gpu off its slot. Ohm reader says 0 ohms now :P I did find a super thin hair of copper under the...

Gamecube short circuit without any connections?

GC sound fix for built in regulator boards?

I cant remember to be honest. I started on my gcp project like 6-7 years ago when I was 13-14 but I gave up and set it aside. This ia how I "found" it. The composite video works through the av port though so why shouldn't sound ? Only the brass colored ground outline is removed. Not close to...

Protect battery from original GC-power supply with a diode?

Re: Protect battery from original GC-power supply with a dio Yah that could work. If the GC adapter is connected, it will turn itself on automatically. By doing that the N64 switch could connect/ disconnect to the battery :D

Protect battery from original GC-power supply with a diode?

Re: Protect battery from original GC-power supply with a dio Hmm but a Diode will also do the trick right? I don't see a reason not to use it except for an added 1.7W of energy usage.
