I have a 32M smartboy cart and a bleepbloop usb cart, both work well and are made well. Never order a cart from jose torres (bleepbloop). He lost my order and would not reply for months, and when he finally sent the cart it arrived without the cd or usb cable.

Do you just wire up the battery and the cgb's regulator handles it, or must you use a resistor to make it 3v?
