Nah I never finished. Not because it is impossible, I just completely lost interest. If you're familiar with the 555 timer, it doesn't take too much effort to get it to work.
BTW Don't use my schematic for your project; it is flawed.
Re: Downing's 3rd N64p "The Nimbus II"
I'm not much for complicated paint schemes; you never see them on consumer electronics or really anything for that matter. If I were you I would go with either straight white, 2 distinct colors, or black. If you make it black, then maybe you should...
@Sam
From the site: "80% of initial capacity at 1000 cycles"
Most of the other batteries have a cycle life of >500 times. I don't know about the 4700 or 5000mAh ones though.
Re: Downing's 3rd N64p "The Nimbus II"
Glad to see you've started another one! What I really like about your projects is that they always get finished in a timely fashion.
Beautiful job with the case btw.
Well, I found a pinout of the chip (JRC NJM2284) that capacitor is connected to. It's used to switch video signals. In the datasheet, the test circuit shows a 10uf cap connected to pin 8, which is what I need.
So I guess I solved my own problem. :dahroll:
Re: I told myself I wouldn't make a thread for this one, but
Looks great, Mario! :awesomemario: What do you use to glue acrylic?
edit: I almost forgot to mention how much I appreciate your worklogs. Thanks for posting this one.
One of my friends bought it and he let me and a ton of people borrow it from him. MY GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE?
I actually really liked Other M, and the cut scenes weren't that bad.
Yes, they're the same; although the Verge screens I have used have had different board revisions (4N). Works the same way, it's just that there are some extra capacitors and a strange led circuit that serves no purpose.
